Our newsletter takes a slightly different form than usual this month as we give you information about some of the events we know are taking place in and around the Carluke area. This year has been another difficult year in Carluke with the continuation of Covid-19 but as we rapidly approach the Festive Season we are seeing a flurry of activity across the One Carluke Area Network. We are so delighted that events are back and we hope to see you all out supporting our local community groups, teams and businesses so that they not only survive but thrive in the future. Do Good DecemberThis month, we're encouraging you to carry out small acts of kindness. This has been another difficult year of uncertainty and ups and downs for many of us. Kindness is contagious, and helping others has been proven to make us feel better too! Let's try to focus on being generous with our time and attention rather than money - it's free and better for everyone, as well as our planet! |

Clydesdale Food Bank |
We want to give a special shout out to Liz Bartham who won this years VASLAN Volunteer of the Year Award. She continulously devotes herself to the foodbank and this was well deserved. Congratulations, Liz. |

Christmas Foodbank AppealClydesdale Food Banks Christmas Foodraiser is on full swing now. These bags will be distributed during December alongside our usual food packs. Thank you to everybody who has already been donating. The team are happy to accept any dried or tinned foods, personal and household hygiene products - the only thing they do not need just now is dry pasta! |
