CARLUKE on the RUN 2020 – POSTPONED

In light of new advice issued by the Scottish and UK Government to delay the spread of COVID-19, we have unfortunately taken the decision to postpone this year’s Carluke on the Run 10K race event, scheduled for Sunday, 7th June 2020.

We are seeking a rearranged date in the second half of this year.

All existing entries will be valid for the rescheduled date. Once a new date has been announced, those already entered who are unable to attend will be given the option to defer entry to the 2021 race or to withdraw, with a full refund.

We’d like to issue our sincere apologies and we are extremely disappointed, but this decision has not been taken lightly and has at its centre CDT’s wish to ensure the safety and welfare of our communities, staff, volunteers, runners and their families.

It is important that we do all we can together as communities and individuals to help slow the spread of this virus so that our fantastic health service is able to better treat, during what will no doubt be a demanding period, those who need additional help.

Therefore please follow the advice issued by the government and NHS, which can be found on the NHS Inform, by following this link;

A free helpline has also been set up for people who do NOT have symptoms but are looking for general advice: 0800 028 2816

Please take care of yourself, your family, friends and were safe to do so your wider community during these unprecedented times.
