On Monday 25th March 2019, Carluke High School hosted its very first dance show at Carluke Lifestyles.
Thanks to funding from the Carluke Development trust, who covered the costs of venue hire, printing of promotional materials and provided donations to the raffle; around 140 students from Carluke High School, Crawforddyke Primary School, Forth Primary School, Law Primary School and St Athanasius Primary School had the chance to perform and showcase their talents in front of a packed audience.
The show consisted of 17 separate dances and, through ticket sales, programme sales, a raffle and a refreshments stand raised £1250.00 which is going to be reinvested in Sport and Physical Activity in the Carluke learning community.
A huge well done and congratulations to all students and teachers involved in this great event – we’re already looking forward to CHS Dance Show 2020!
