Grand Opening of our New Shed Postponed

Dear members, in light of the current coronavirus situation and following guidance outlined at the recent government press conferences, we have taken the decision to postpone the opening ceremony of Carluke Mens Shed which was planned for Saturday 21 March.

The safety and welfare of our members, their families and the public is our primary consideration.

We have also taken the decision to postpone future meetings of the Carluke Mens Shed and group activities at the shed until after the Easter weekend. We will review the situation again at the beginning of April and provide members with an update.
If anyone needs any help or assistance during this difficult period please let us know and we will do our best to help out, in the meantime please follow advice issued by the government and NHS.

A free helpline has been set up for people who do not have symptoms but are looking for general advice: 0800 028 2816.

Take care fellow shedders

Best regards

Mark Ingram (CMS secretary)
