ONECarluke Parish Conversation 2020
Covid-19 Community Response Survey

ONECarluke Town Team would like to share their gratitude to all the groups who managed to respond to the Covid-19 survey.

64 groups were represented as part of the consultation process, each with their own unique interests, challenges and ambitions for the future.

The ONECarluke Covid-19 project steering group has reviewed all responses and has developed an Action Plan.

The second Carluke Conversation

In 2019, the second Carluke Conversation explored the findings of the first Carluke Conversation in more detail. Over 500 people responded, with the results summarised below (click to expand)

The first Carluke Conversation

In 2018 we asked about your views and aspirations for Carluke.

We wanted to hear your ideas for community projects, activities and facilities.

We also asked about how Carluke Development Trust could change and what would encourage you to get involved in the future.

Over 500 of you responded to Carluke Conversation and High Mill surveys.

With your help Carluke Development Trust was able to;

Acquire Carluke High Mill for the community and secure Architectural Heritage Funding to start bringing the buildings into community use.

Secure Big Lottery funding for an environmental improvement and community engagement programme.

Create a new ONECarluke Making Places group establishing community leadership in local regeneration.

Expand Carluke on the Run with a new FUN Saturday event and Jam & Ham with community craft workshops / classes.
