In light of the current coronavirus situation and following guidance outlined  at the government press conference yesterday, CDT Directors have taken the decision to cancel all external meetings and events and to close the CDT offices until at least the 30th May 2020. This decision has not been taken lightly and has at its centre CDT’s wish to ensure the safety and welfare of our communities, staff, volunteers, and their families.

It is important that we do all we can together as communities and individuals to help slow the spread of this virus so that our fantastic health service is able to better treat, during what will no doubt be a demanding period, those who need additional help.

Therefore please follow the advice issued by the government and NHS, which can be found on the NHS Inform, by following this link;

A free helpline has also been set up for people who do NOT have symptoms but are looking for general advice: 0800 028 2816

Please take care of yourself, your family, friends and where safe to do so your wider community during these unprecedented times.

Many thanks
