Tom and Wendy Kennedy are embarking on the challenge of this year’s Kiltwalk 2021 to raise funds for Carluke Men’s Shed — as they did last year.
Tom, who is Carluke Men’s Shed Treasurer said,
It’s been a tough year keeping Carluke Men’s Shed going and its members staying in contact and being positive while Coronavirus restrictions are in effect. Hopefully restrictions will begin to ease in the near future and members will be able to get together again to socialise and engage in practical activities and planned projects.
We will be setting off on the Kiltwalk on Sunday 25th April 2021 and walking around Strathclyde Park in Motherwell 3 times which is the equivalent of 12miles (nearly half a marathon in the Olympics !!)
We ask anyone who has the funds to do so, please make a donation for our efforts to reach our target of £2k and, hopefully, more.
Every penny we raise will be topped up by 50% thanks to the generosity of Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation.
Any donation you can spare will mean the world to us and our chosen charity – Carluke Men’s Shed.
Thank you in advance!
Tom and Wendy

If you can, please Gift Aid your donation when asked.
