Place Standards through a Climate Lens Workshop

We have been asked to host a workshop on the following topic: Place Standards through a Climate Lens.

This topic will explore and seek the views of interested parties on the development of Place Based activities through a Climate Change Lens, namely the impact of  these activities on the Climate at a local, ward and national level.

It is hoped that the workshop and subsequent activities will identify as many of the activities as possible are developed and delivered with minimum environmental/climate impact.

South Lanarkshire Council will be leading the workshop and discussion sessions with ourselves on Tuesday 15th February 2022 from 7pm within St John’s Church Hall (refreshments will be made available) and will use the newly developed Place Standard Tool to identify and collate attendees’ views and thoughts.

In addition, a member of the Climate Lens Project team (Sniffer Consultancy – https://www.sniffer.org.uk) will observe the session with participants and facilitators.

An update on the pilot so far for your information can be found at:

We hope you can attend and contribute to this and future activities.
