September 2021 Community Group Support Newsletter

Organising an event should be fun but it is also a responsibility that can cause concerns.

Whether small or large, events such as family celebrations, coffee mornings and walks for groups, galas, markets and festivals all aim to provide an opportunity for people to come together and enjoy themselves.

In these times, we have to be aware of more safety measures and be prepared to adapt and sometimes postpone arrangements. How frustrating is that?

However, if we don't plan anything nothing will happen so let's be pragmatic, flexible and stay positive!

In this newsletter, we include another factsheet, links and local news we hope will be helpful and we wish you all the best for organising events in the future!

Please remember the Community Groups Support Team was set up to try and offer support so please get in touch if you have any ideas or queries you wish to share.
