The journey towards reopening shops and businesses

The journey towards reopening shops and businesses

Because of the commitment and sacrifice of the people, businesses and communities of Carluke & Scotland, Carluke’s businesses and shops will from today (Monday 29th June 2020) start the journey to safely ease out of the Covid-19 lockdown.

The businesses, shops and their staff are looking forward to safely serving more and more of their communities, without whom there would not be a vibrant and active town centre.

As more and more of the businesses and shops open, their staff will be working in new ways that will be different from how they worked before the lockdown.

This new way of working is essential to ensure the health, well-being and safety of their customers and staff and as a result may cause some delays and confusion.

But all of the businesses and shops are committed to delivering the highest standards of customer service in these different times and will work together with their communities in making this as positive experience for all.

We ask for your patience and understanding as we all work through the new “normal”.
